Windows XP Start Up error

hi
anyway when i start up my windows xp it comes up with:
Windows could not start because of an error in the software
please report this problem as :
load need DLLs for kernel

plus when i try to reinstall windows xp
it says there isnt any paritions to install to

i am really stuck so please help

Hi,

Are you able to load safe mode by hitting F8 as soon as the system POST ends
and before Windows begins to load?

Hi and thanks for replying

No it won't let me It keeps saying windows file corrupted

Then you will need to do a repair installation of WindowsXP. Boot your CD
and start setup, agree to the license and at the point where you choose the
installation location you should be given a chance to repair the existing
installation. Do not hit 'r' when initially prompted to repair the system,
this is for the recovery console. You must run setup to get to the repair
option.
