windows xp service pak

I just downloaded the service pak and I think I have made
a terrible mistake in doing so.

I use Netscape as my default internet connector. Until
the download it worked just fine..now it does not work at
all. Even though it is still shown as the default
connector.

anyone have a suggestion.

I do NOT like Explorer and would rather not use
it..ever...

You must use Internet Explorer when accessing the
Windows Update website. Now, uninstall your Netscape
browser, reboot and reinstall it.
