xp service pak issues

I'm trying to download service pak 2 on windows xp home
edition I keep recieving need more disc space. I remove
most of cookies and proframs not used and still get
message. What can I do?

How much free space do you have on your C: drive?

(My Computer -> right click on the (C:) drive, select properties.)
