Service pak 2 expected version

I downloaded Service pak 3 and I received an error. It said it could not
proceed because "the expeced version of the product was not found on my
system " WHAT THE #@$% is the expected version?????

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

There is no SP3 for WindowsXP at this time. You probably downloaded
SP3 for a version of MS Office and you don't have that version
installed.
