Windows-XP Reinstall

I am considering replacing my CPU from uniprocessor to multicore. Do I need
to reinstall Windows and other stuff...i.e. drivers, etc.?

If you do a "repair" install that should take care of it ................

Will the dual fit your mb? If not you will need a new mb, new processor
(dual), new memory and then ms will think you have moved xp to a new
computer and you will probably have to phone them to explain what you have
done.

If the cpu is compatible with your mobo, then no reinstallation will be
