Windows XP - "Owner" Signon

Does anyone know if and how I can disable the "Owner"
signon screen from coming up when starting up windows. I
would like the system to boot all the way thru to the
windows desktop instead of having to select the owner
profile.

Mike,
I would suggest downloading and installing Tweakui from
http://download.com.com/3000-2341-2830963.html?tag=lst-0-1
and run the program. Expand the "Logon" section, and
click on "Autologon". This will automatically log you on
to the account of your choice. I hope this helps you out.

Go To control panel, User accounts, Change the way users
log onto this computer.

Amen! This started happening after a recent Windows "opdate." Evidently a new security feature, but going on to "Change the way users log on" does not affect this behavior. I'm still looking for the answer.
