Windows 2000 signon

I am getting the signon and signoff screens in the old windows 2000 format.
I don't know what I did to activate this. How do I turn it off and go back
to the standard xp type signon and signoff.

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts.
Under "Pick a Task" select "Change the way Users log on or off".
Make sure "Use the Welcome Screen" is checked.
You can also check "Use Fast User Switching" if needed.
Click Apply Options.
The next time your computer starts you should see the XP Welcome
Screen.

Thanks for your help. I discovered I got into this problem when trying to
hook up to my home network with this computer. I had inadvertently installed
Client for Netware Services. I was able to do as you suggest after
unintalling that.
