Recording Username from Access Signon

I am trying to record the username from the Access Signon. I have read a
number of articles from the newsgroups but they all seem to be refering to
the Windows Signon not Access's Signon. I want to record this onto the form
so I can track who last inserted/updated a record and to enable/disable
command button on forms. If you can record/identify the users group
aswell,(Access again) I would be greatful

Can anyone point me in the right direction
