Please Help,
My Windows XP password logon page keeps reappearing. I
have "never" selected for "standby" and "hybernate". Any
help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Control Panel/Display/screensaver tab, uncheck "on resume, password protect"
Control Panel/Power Options/Advanced tab, uncheck "prompt for
password......"

Paul,

Welcome screen may appear if your system is idle. To disable this:

Turn off the "On resume, display Welcome Screen" feature:
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
Click the Screen Saver tab, click to clear the On Resume, display
Welcome screen check box.

(and)

Configure your computer to not prompt you to type a password when you resume
from standby:
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Power Options.
On the Advanced tab, click to clear the Prompt for password when
computer resumes from standby check box, and then click OK.
