Windows xp installation woes

With the copy of XP Professional I have you can't install from the CD. If
you do it will fail when it tries to load drivers off the CD for the SATA
hard drive or other devices. I didn't have a floppy disc drive so I had to
install one just to get the drivers on a floppy for the setup process.
I heard there is a Windows XP version that will install the drivers
properly so I do not need a floppy disc drive.
I paid $300 for this cd so I would like to be able to install it off the
cd...

With the original XP install CD, you can always add the special boot drivers
by press <F6> in order to add the drivers. After, you could locate info on
how to add you drivers to the XP install CD (know sometimes as
"slipstreaming") thus creating a revised install CD.
