Other hard drive, IDE, crashed, since my motherboard supports sata, i
purchased sata drive. When trying to install xp on new drive, XP disc does
not read the drive as being present. Drive is good, configured in bios,
partitioned and formatted. Any way to get this to recognize drive and
install?

Does your SATA controller require a driver to be loaded during the install
of Windows XP? (Press F6 at the beginning of the install when it asks..)
