I have just formatted my hard drive and tried to do a
clean boot of windows xp. The screen says there is no
valid disk in the drive and it says put disk in and enter
when in place. When i hit enter it still comes up and
says there is no valid windows disk. Am i doing something
wrong? If someone can help, PLEASE DO!

You need to set your BIOS to boot from CD.
Read the manual that came with youe machine.
