Reformat - Clean install XP Home

My computer runs into a dead end when I try to reformat and perform a clean
install of XP Home Edition.

After booting from the CD-ROM successfully with the Windows XP Home edition
CD, it does not see the OS on my new SATA drive, "Setup cannot find a
previous version of Windows installed on your computer"?

It then does not see the CD as valid; "Setup could not read the CD or the CD
is not a valid Windows CD"?

This as far as I can get. I can still boot into Windows Xp without any
problems.

Do you have the SATA drivers on a floppy disk and are you loading them
at the "Press F6 to load RAID or other drivers" pont just after the CD
boots?
