Hi. When I use my fax console to receive faxes it fails everytime. It says that either phone is busy or disconnected. My phone is not busy or disconnected. It rings and I tell to pick up fax but the phone keeps ringing and it goes to my answering machine.

Help please.

Thank you,

Kami

What kind of modem do you have? Can you dial out with it? That would prove
it's hooked up to the phone line properly. Not all modems are fax-capable,
though most are.

Hi Tom. I have sent and received faxes in December from the same computer with no problems. I am not sure why it will not let me now. How do I dial out from my modem?

Thank you for responding,

Hopefully we can get it figured out
