A Simple FAX Question

I can send faxes just fine. My question is about receiving them. When do
I choose 'Receive a Fax Now' from the File menu? Do I choose it before the
phone rings when I know the next phone call will be a fax or do I choose it
after the phone rings? Or does it matter at all when I do it?

Thank you very much.

Set it to automatically receive faxes. You need to do this in Services
and the modem's properties in Device manager.

Thank you.

One follow up please. Does the Fax Console have to be running to receive a
fax? My guess is that it does.

Thanks again.

No. Also, in the Fax Console, go to Tools/Configure fax and follow the
Wizard.
