Windows XP Crashes when trying to use Install CD Wizard

I'm trying to install a wireless router. When I try and run the "Easy
Install CD Wizard" from Belkin Windows XP crashes. The recommended fix is to
use the Event Viewer, find the application log relevant to the problem and
open it. It then says try and run the CD again and it should work. It does
not work, and XP continues to crash every time I try and run the CD. It says
there could be a problem with the CD drive or device driver. The CD ROM has
no problems playing audio CDs and I haven't had problems with it before.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Although I don't know why the wizard would crash your PC, have you thought
of downloading the drivers from the belkin and installing off your
harddrive. You can also hold down the left shift key (until the CD is shown
in explorer) when you put the CD in then copy the files to a location on
your harddrive.

Bluto, I have a wireless router, and although it's not actually installed as
such. it uses it fine. I have a laptop which is wireless enabled. Is your PC
wireless enabled? If not it won't look for networks connections. Set up a
wireless network, then tell it to connect and it will find networks in your
area. No wireless setup? It'll never work.
