Windows XP corrupted while loading SP1a

I was updating my sister's computer, it had not been
updated in quite a while and for some reason it will not
boot back into windows. I can put it on my computer and
look at all the files so the hard drive is not bad just
the windows installation. Is there any way I can fix
windows from my Windows 2K PC with the XP hard drive as
the Slave??
