windows xp cd not reading during fresh installment

im trying to fresh install windows xp but it can not read during installion.
i tried cleaning few times and i tried using 3 different cd roms which all
gave me the same response. "cd can not be read or not a valid cd". it is a
valid cd. can anyone help?

May mean that the cd drive is faulty, or motherboard controlers, or that
simply an internal connection is lose.
I assume you are booting from the cd
