Windows Vista Mail problem

Can anybody help me on this?
Any time I open windows mail, some strange files appear om my desktop
(edb.chk, edbres00001.jrs, edbres00002.jrs, edb, tmp.edb, ...)
It doesn't matter if I delete these files. Whenever I open Windows mail the
next time, all these files come back to my desktop again.
Does anyboby know how to getbrid of this files? Why suddenly they appeared
to my desktop?

This anomaly seems to be a side effect of deleting the MSMessageStore
files. You have two options.

a. Go through the somewhat laborious "Reset Windows Mail" process:

b. Upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
