What updates are downloaded in the automatic mode?
My reason for asking is that many of the updates offered in the manual mode
concern different language packs and are of no interest to me?

Hi Craig

The Security/Critical Updates will be downloaded and installed via Auto
Update. The 'manual' Update may include drivers as well.
