Windows Update

I installed AS on Server 2003. I ran it and deleted what
it told me to. I find now that Windows Update crashes IE
after redirecting to http://beta.updates.microsoft.com/
I have uninstalled MS AS, but the crash still occurs. It
also crashes Yahoo Instant Messenger v6. I will try to
repair my system using the install CD, but I'm afraid I
may have done permanent damage.

IE still works for normal browsing, as I am posting to
this site using IE. Anyone know what files I should
reinstall from the CD to get things up and running again?

not necessiarily. you can always whipe the hard drive
clean by reformatting it and then reinstallint the
operating system.
