Windows Update saying "Administrators Only"

Problem Description: I can't do a windows update, I am

the adminitrator, I have 'repaired' windows xp.When I try
to do an update I can connect to the web site but when the
site is searching my PC it says Adminitrators only.

but to no avail.
I do have a home network (just this dell and a second

PC) but as far as I can see the sellections on the network
policies are all Ok to accept a Windows update.
