Windows Update messed up?

E

Ed.

I just did a clean install of XP with SP/2 and when I go to Windows Updates
there are no criticals. When SP/2 first
came out I made a slipstreamed CD and did a clean install and there were
several critical updates then. Not sure how many. Being there aren't any now
months later, there be a MS problem.

Does anyone know if Microsoft is having a problem with Windows Updates?

I will check back in a day or two and see if there are any. I just checked
with a buddy of mine he already has XP SP/2 installed from his slipstreamed
CD. He went to Windows Updates since he hasn't for awhile and there was one
Critical.

As a test for me he did a clean install tonight and went to Windows Updates
and sure enough there were no Critical Updates.

Thanks,
Ed.

Try updateing and useing the updater from microsoft.com home page.Thier
arent to many updates for SP2,however you can go to downloads at microsoft,
use the scroll bar, scroll to xp,then type in:Windows XP In the new window,
select, search by date instead of the popularity mode it searched by.No update
runs fine for others w/o a problem.
