Hi, I keep getting this update to download. I have downloaded it a few times,
all times stating it was successful when I check my update history but yet
automatic upate keeps asking to download and install it. Is there any way to
stop it since I am assuming it was successfully downloaded?

Pay a visit to the MS Update site and run the Update engine then instead of
selecting Express Option select Custom option and Uncheck this update and
also make sure to check the Check box for never show this update again and
continue the updates, if there are any updates and close the Window, does
this help?.

Remove that update via Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, download that
update from this site and run the executable file.
"Security Update for Windows XP (KB927779)"
