Windows Unable To Recognize Scanner Driver

Possible bad USB cable?
Cable not fully inserted in scanner or PC.
Your using Windows Service Pack 3 (just kidding)

Check driver status each time you boot the PC,
does it change from OK to having a problem and
since your scanner is currently working I assume the
driver status shows as OK?

The driver status shows OK every time. So maybe the message I'm getting
doesn't really mean it can't find the Twain drivers... maybe it means it
can't find the scanner itself? Bad cable or bad connection might be the
real issue. Good idea JS. I'll check that more closely.
