windows task manager frozen

My windows task manager is stuck on the processes page
and the only way to shut it down is from the little
square notification icon on the right side of my toolbar.
Is there a way to uninstall this program and reinstall to
get it working properly again? Thanks, Colly
 
Double-click on the top border of Task Manager to see the menu bar.

Double click the gray border around Task Manager.
