I broke task manager

Mister Scary

Well, not completely, but it isn't working correctly either.

I am running XP SP 2. I have an old academic license of Visual C++ 6.0 pro
that I decided I was going to reinstall a couple of weeks ago. I proceeded
to do so and I got a few strange error messages in the process. Then,
before I could try to run Visual C++ 6.0, I had to bring up the task manager
for some reason or another. I then switched from the application list to
the process list. When I did so the application and process tabs at the top
of task manager disappeared altogether. So now I only have a process list
and the only way I can close task manager is to right click on its icon in
the taskbar. And I uninstalled Visual C++ 6.0 before I had a chance to use
it. I figured it was a bad idea to try and install it anyway.

I want to get this fixed - with Windows if there is one thing not working
correctly that you do know about there will probably be other thins as well.

Hi Mister Scary,

Double-click the extreme border of the taskmanager window. You've got it in
"small footprint" mode.

HTH Tony.
