If I was to slipstream Windows XP SP-2 do I have to use the Original Pre XP
SP-1 CD or can I use the slipstreamed SP-1 CD?

You can use any.
SP2 contains all updates that SP1 contains plus new ones.
So, if you use XP without SP1 and you slipstream SP2, you'll end up with
updated system.
Similarly, If you use XP with SP1 and you slipstream SP2, you'll end up with
updated system.

Just do noy waste you time with the RC versions. The full version of SP2
should be coming late July, early August or by September.

I would agree that it is basically a waste of time to slipstream SP2RC2,
but when SP2 goes gold is still a BIG question mark. There is talk of
MS releasing a third RC, so SP2 may be put off as long as the 4th
quarter of this year.
