windows sockets initialization failed

I installed symantec virous scan and after then Macafee .during the installation it was told that there is a peroblem becouse of haveing another virous scan on my computer but I retried & installed it . now windows has many problems at starting windows & I can't see web pages and work with any of internet programs it's said that "windows sockets initialization failed "
please help me .

Hi,

Uninstall both, then use System Restore to go back to a date prior to
installing either of them.
