Windows Security Center and Symantec AntiVirus Business Edition

I have Windows XP Pro SP2 workstations that have the Symantec AntiVirus
Business Edition Client on them. Everything is working properly except that
the Windows Security Center is giving me a warning that the status of the
Virus Protection is "unknown". Why is it telling me this??

It's a bug.The security center kept telling me that Norton was turned off
when it was working fine.Easiest work around at this stage is in the security
center go to "change the way security center alerts me" and un-tick "virus
protection".
