windows not running properly

did a recovery and windows keeps locking up, then
completely reinstalled windows, but now it will not work
at all, keeps throwing error messages.

What are the errors?
Try opening cmd prompt,type:Sfc /Scannow
When the bar graph starts,insert xp cd,exit the xp
welcome page,when the graph is thru,remove cd,restart
computer.Before you run Sfc,open cmd,type:CHKDSK C: /F
C: being the hd,after Dsk check runs,open disk cleanup
utility,ck all the boxes.Open cmd,typeefrag C:
Finally run Sfc after defrag.
