also "drags" a bar onto the Audio, and there is NO Audio
BUT when I try and put Audio on with the Narration it
says it cannot because something else is being used!! and
when I try and Narrate NOTHING WILL HAPPEN how do I stop
the empty frames going into the Audio Time Lines when
there is nothing on the Audio??
Hope you can help me please

I have made a small movie and want to email to a cousin in Canada - she has a Mac - can I send it in a format that she can see on the Mac?

Movie Maker does not seperate video and audio so when you
drag a video onto the video timeline, you also fill the
audio timeline, even if there is no audio with that piece
of video. You add music and narration using the
audio/music timeline. If you've got music on the
audio/music timeline, you can not add narration too.

Thank you for your reply, I have been using Windows
Movie Player for the last 4 months and during that time I
could drag a video clip onto the time line, THEN add
music the the Audio/Music time line, then as I watch the
video clip I could Narrate to parts of the video clip and
that would then go into the AUDIO time line, then I could
lower the music so you could hear the narration, but now
I cannot do that

Hello
It's me again, I have just tried to do as you
suggested. I dragged a video clip onto the time line, and
as( what has been happening the last 5 days) a
a frame came down onto the Audio, I then added some music
and that went onto the Audio/ Music time line which is
fine, then I added Narration and it took part of the
music clip off.
In the past when I dragged a clip down that is ALL that
wass dragged, then I used to add music on the Audio/Music
time line, then I could Narrate and dragged that onto the
AUDIO time line and it worked fine for the last 4 months
until 5 days ago ??? why.....WHY???
