Narration and Audio Track possible

I am using Windows Movie Maker and I am trying to narrate over an audio music
track and play both simultaneously. Is this possible?

I'm guessing you have sound files in both
your Audio and Audio/Music tracks? If you
save the project in a movie format...and then
reimport the saved movie file...you can drag
it to the timeline and add another file to the
now clear Audio/Music track.

To save as an .avi movie file...
(and several other options)
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Show More Choices /
Other Settings /
Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /
Next /
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

To save as a .wmv movie file...
Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /
Choose...My Computer /
Next /
Enter a Name and a Save Location /
Next /
Tick...'Best Quality For My Computer'
Next/
Wait while the movie is saved /
Finish...

Specifically, I have photos with music on the audio/music track and want to
record a narration with the music at specific points in the movie. I can't
get the narration to copy on the audio track it will default into the
audio/music track behind the music selection I want to narrate. Thank you.

Yes...an additional sound file...narration for
example...will go to the Audio/Music track.
The only audio you will see in the Audio track
is included in the video clip.

Did you try left click/dragging the narration
file to the correct position?
