Windows Media Player & Service Pack 4

I recently changed hard drives on my computer and was
upgraded to Service pack 4 and windows media player 9.
All my musics sounds like Alvin & the Chipmunks when it
plays, Is there a fix that anyone has come across?

Update the sound card drivers for your machine. You can also lower the
sound card hardware acceleration but a new driver should do the trick.
