Windows ME

It doesn't look like spyware can be used for Windows ME.
so what am I suppose to use - my system is slower, keeps
crashing.

Get HijackThis.exe from
http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe

Save it to C:\hjt (new folder) then Open it and select
Scan and Save Log. Note where you saved the log then
send it to me as an attachment. Put Hijack in the subject
so I'll know it's not spam. I'll tell you what you have
and what to do to get rid of it.

There are other freeware/shareware scanners out there that will work on
Win98 & ME
systems. Thinking Spybot and Adaware just to name two.

I have windows me and I use three spy and ad removers and

they are free. Ad aware, one on the yahoo toolbar and
antispyware blocker.I also use a free antivirus guard and
zone alarm as my virus checker. Works great but I always
use these to clean up after I have surfed the internet for
a while. Each one will catch something the other one
missed and can be as High as 40 or more spywares. Hope
this helps.
