Windows mail and servers

I'm home from college for the summer and i set up my windows mail so it
receives mail from my UNH email address. Since I've been home i can receive
mail but not send it. Does this have something to do with not being on the
UNH server at home? Is there anyway i can fix it so i can send my mail from
home?

Try the SMTP server of the connection that you are using.

Tammy, it is better to start your own thread instead of hijacking one
started by someone else.

Who provides your email service? Or to ask that question another way,
what is the part of your email address after the @ symbol?
Your mail provider will typically have a web page that shows how to
set up an email program. If you need more help, tell us the name of
your email service provider. If you currently don't have an email address,
we can help with that also.

Hi Sarah,
Is it the same computer you had at UNH?
It's unlikely, but if you have a web-based account like Gmail, ask UNH IT.

If it's not the same computer, quadruple check for a typo in the settings.
