Windows Logon Screen

I have Windows XP Pro with SP2 using a AMD processor that is 1.2 Ghz with
1500 GB RAM.

After installing Windows XP Pro it went through the boot process and after
all the preliminary setups ran the logon for the new account.

Afterward I established a new user account using password protection and
rebooted. The logon screen showing the new account did not show and went
directly into the original account established. Every time I boot up it
never shows the logon screen.

Would appreciated some assistance with this problem.

Rob,

You can do the following to have the users logon through CTRL+ALT+DEL:

Start ==> Run ==> control userpasswords2

You can then choose if you require the c+a+d combination or just the
default XP home screen.
