Windows Logon Problem

I am not able to change from the classic logon back to
the welcome window logon. It continues to change back to
the classic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is this windows part of Domain? If WindowsXP is part of domain then welcome
screen logon is disabled and can't be used.

Second thing some 3rd party application that change msgina.dll can disable
welcome screen... (e.g. ActivCard, RSA, etc...)...

yes if the computer is part of a domain then there is no welcome screen
