windows live messenger

hi all. recently downloaded windows live messenger tried to install it but i
got an error message stating that the program wasnt a valid win32 application
or something along those lines. im running xp home with sp2 any help would be
much appreciated

Hi hinchy23,

Uninstall the current version, first. Download, again and save the download into the Briefcase Folder on the Desktop.

Take the time to clean out your \Temp Folders of all sub-folders and files. Empty the Recycle Bin. Use your Registry Cleaner. Reboot and reinstall Windows Live Messenger.
