Windows is very slow with login

Hello,

We have an Windows 2000 server with latest service packs
en windows 2000 workstations (als latest SP), The problem
is that it take 1 or 2 minutes when we logon on the server.

What can be the cause of this and how can we solve the
problem?

Is this only on the server?

Are the DNS settings correct?

Have you tried logging in under another admin enabled account? If so
does it log in quickly with the alternate account (could be a corrupt
profile)?
