Windows Interface problems

Ever since I installed XP Service Pack 2, I have been having some GUI
problems, mainly not being able to click on certain things, and when my login
screen comes up after powering up the computer, sometimes the field to enter
my password will go away (usually whenever I move my mouse for some reason)
and so I have to TAB and scroll through until it opens up again.

And, after I log in, sometimes I cannot click on anything such as the
taskbar and connection messages that pop up. The only way that I can fix this
is by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE and click on something there to get it back to
normal.

I would like to know if there is any way that I can downgrade to XP service
pack 1? I am using XP Home edition, by the way. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

type:EXIT Let xp start, then run disk clean-up,and defrag.
