Hi:
Does anyone know what would cause a "Windows Installer Screen" to come up
at the end of each boot up? In addition, Norton Internet Security 2007 is
installed, and after 20-30 more seconds a Norton screen comes up saying
"Norton Anti Virus does not support the Repair feature, please uninstall and
reinstall".
It appears that Norton somehow was trying to fix this problem and
couldn't. All other functions within NIS 2007 are working fine and nothing
appears that calls for the uninstall and reinstall.
Again what could cause the Windows Installer Screen to come up? After it
and Norton are cancelled out everything is normal. The system is XP Home
Edition SP2 with all Windows Updates installed with the exception of
upgrading to IE7.
Thanks
