Windows Installer Message.

Windows Installer message window comes up when I boot up, just before
windows comes up and again when trying to open any program in Windows
MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.). First the Windows Installer message:
"Preparing to Install", then a Norton Message: "Please wait while
Windows configures Norton AntiVirus 2005", then A Norton Antivirus
2005 Message: "Norton Antivirus 2005 does not support the Repair
feature, please uninstall and reinstall". Where does this come from
and what do I uninstall and reinstall? What is Windows Installer and
where does the Repair Feature located? Once I close out the three
mesages, I can get into the programs.

Uninstall Norton from it's uninstaller or from Control Panel>Add/Remove
programs.
Get an AV program that isn't so intrusive.
