norton antivirus 2005 and windows installer.

Using XP Home. Updated to SP2 and installed Norton
Antivirus 2005. When windows boots up Windows Installer
says perpairing to install, then Norton Antivirus 2005
says, does not support the repair feature, please
uninstall and reinstall. I click ok and the computer
works fine. Can anyone tell me why I get these popups and
how to get them to stop?

Click start > Run > type in "msconfig" without quotes > startup (tab),
uncheck any unnecessary program that might be starting up with the system.

Also empty your temp files folder.

Apparently Norton Antivirus 2005 requires the Start Menu folders to remain where
the installer put them. So if you moved them, just put them back and the error
on bootup goes away.

Having the same issue, but only with non XP administrators. NAV2005 will not
run unless you are the admin. Tried all the solutions. Shortcuts have not
moved, reinstalled, etc.

Any other help out there???
