My computer freezes many times per day. Makes no
difference whether I'm using it or not. I have 512 megs
of ram and an 80 gig harddrive that's 73% free. Can
anyone help?

run the windows compataiblty feature on the windows xp cd,
possible program causeing your crashes...

and check the event viewer, in control panel, admin tools.

If it freezing up and your not even using it, that would point me to a
hardware problem, possibly a heat issue. Heat will freeze it up tight. Check
to make sure you have enough fans and they are all running. You should have
a processor fan, power supply fan, one or more case fans, a video card fan.
