Windows freezes help me....

My system in a nut shell:

Video Radeon 9600 pro
WD 160 GB HD SATA
WD 60 GB HD IDE
IDE 16x DVD Rom drive
Samsung CD-R/RW drive
Realtek Gigabit network card integrated
AMD Athlon 64 3400+, and 1 GB RAM
Realtek sound integrated
All with a VIA motherboard chipset.

The most recent hardware install is:

Encore Electronics Inc. Wireless 802.11G Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter.

You really need to describe in greater detail what actully happens, error
mesages, or whatever. Can you get to safe mode, last known config etc. with
F8 on boot up?
Uninstall new hardware and start over.
