Windows Explorer

Using Windows XP Home Edition, when I try to rename a
file using Windows Explorer, I get the following error
message.
"Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs
to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I have reported the error to Microsoft several times.
Anyone know what to do to rectify the problem?

You have probably picked up some malware while surfing the Internet.
Do a scan of your harddrive with this:
Ad-aware - Download.com - shareware
