Windows Explorer won't open folders in same window

I don't know exactly when this problem began, but I can no longer set
Windows Explorer to open each folder in the same window. I'm running XP
Home SP2. I choose Tools/Folder options and click "Open each folder in the
same window" and the radio button show it's selected. However nothing
changes, each folder opens in another window. Could it be a registry
problem?

Yes, the file samefolderwindow.reg worked. Problem solved.
