Windows Explorer View Settings Not Working

Windows Explorer "forgets" each folder's view settings. even though the
"Remember each folder's view setting" option is set, and the "Restore
previous folder windows at logon" is also set. Also: The first window
opened by Windows Explorer always comes up small, not full size. --

Folders View by default can only do this for up to 400 folders.
To increase this setting, go here:
Folders View (increase from 400 to 8000)

Thank you for offering the Registry settings which will increase the Folder
View settings. How are the recommended registry entries entered into the
Registry? I looked at 'Regedit" and located the place where they should
appear, but I can't quite figure out how to insert the five statements.
