Hmm. Does it close by crashing? Do you get MS error message?
FWIW:
1. RUN, Chkdsk /f, reboot and checkdisk runs.
2. Windows update, all critical updates.
3. Same problem in SAFE mode?
4. Firewall issue?
5. Sufficient disk space?
